Tom has a keen interest for anything related to sport. He’s played a great variety of sports competitively, ranging from rugby and AFL to water polo and netball. He has backed off the contact sport and attends the gym and the golf course (semi-) regularly, and swims in the pool and ocean. He has performed physio and first aid in a variety of settings including representative rugby, triathlons and schools.

Tom loves assessing injuries and ailments and believes that an accurate assessment can bring to the fore any obvious deficiencies, but also underlying causes and contributing factors for a given injury or condition. He strives to get athletes back on the field, and people back to their pre-injury status as quickly as possible and preventing further injury or recurrences.

Tom’s special interest is in injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation of the knee. He also has extensive experience in all sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, casting, and general musculoskeletal physiotherapy including back and neck dysfunctions.
